It is impossible to paint, make prints or any art here, without being influenced by the beautiful surroundings. I have spent years involved in Art and Design and education but it is only in the last few years that I have returned to concentrating on producing my own work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"\u003eI originally trained as a graphic artist and illustrator with some printmaking and book design. Now I mostly produce Acrylic and watercolour paintings and I also produce carefully designed and hand printed, very limited edition, linocut prints. Some of my prints show links to my earlier work as an illustrator, often with quirky themes and combinations of images.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"\u003eRecently the wonderful local landscape, wildlife and the changing seasons have become increasingly important in my work.
